Did you also record from the phones output?


1. yes - with a y-wire on phones jack. there is a higher output. but take care, it could be to much!
If not then either your accordion has much stronger output or I am doing something wrong.



2. i was hearing on weekend in hamburg at the national roland festival about a smaller volume on model fr3, fr2 and fr1 in comparison with fr7 or fr5.


3. you can use in your recording software the “normalize” function. that means a highest possible maximize without clipping. (the maximal peak is 0 db)
4. an additional step is to compress the signal, but that kills also dynamic and is a cosmetic step.
